vom Heinolf is a German Shepherd breeder located in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas. We are NOT a kennel, but are a small scale breeder of German Shepherds that only breeds 1-2 carefully planned litters per year.

Our dogs are mainly from working lines (Czech, DDR & West German) and are first and foremost part of the family. We take great pride in them, as well as the puppies we produce.  All breeding dogs will have passing OFA hip and elbow clearances and tested for degenerative myelopathy (DM) prior to being bred.

We understand the commitment in time and money that it takes to carefully plan, breed, whelp and raise a litter of healthy, well balanced German Shepherd puppies. We did not buy two adult dogs six months ago with zero knowledge and decide to breed. We have 10 years experience with raising, training and caring for German Shepherds, but have a lifelong love of this wonderful and noble breed.

When we breed a litter of puppies, we do so with a purpose in mind. Our puppies are bred for stable temperaments, drive, workability, intelligence, and solid nerves. This makes our puppies excellent prospects for SAR, Schutzhund, Agility, Obedience, Protection, etc and great companions for active families. We stand behind what we produce 110% and offer a health, hip and elbow guarantee.

We only breed one litter at a time. By doing this, we are able to give each puppy the one-on-one attention they need and deserve as well as ensuring they are all getting more than enough socialization. We feel this kind of attention and loving care cannot be achieved with more than one litter at a time.

Our puppies are whelped and raised inside the home as a part of the family - NOT raised in kennels or runs. They are handled daily and given plenty of love and attention. They are also socialized to the outdoors, different objects, sights, sounds, smells, flooring, kids, dogs, people and as many things as possible.  

When purchasing a puppy from vom Heinolf they will have/had age appropriate vaccinations, routine dewormings since 2 weeks of age, and veterinary checked before going to their new homes.

Our puppies also come with a a puppy pack! This puppy pack contains AKC registration certificate, health record, contract, health, hip and elbow guarantee, pictures, parents information and health clearances, small toy and a baggy of food.
